Minimum System Requirements to install McAfee in MAC and Windows PC

McAfee Security softwares can be installed in Windows 8,Windows 7,Windows Vista with Service pack 1,Windows X P with Service pack 3 and Apple MAC OS X10.6 (or higher versions).

The minimum RAM requirement for Windows 8, Windows 7 and Windows Vista is 2 GB, while in the case of Windows XP, 512 MB would be sufficient .For Apple OS, a minimum of 2 GB RAM is required.

A High Speed Internet connection is required to download and install McAfee Security Software’s.

When it comes to Hard Disk space, the requirement is a minimum of 500 MB or above free space for Windows PC and 300 MB or above for MAC

Versions of Web browser:

Windows OS  – Internet Explorer 7 and above, Mozilla Firefox 4 and above, Google Chrome

MAC –  Firefox 12 and higher versions, Safari 5 and higher versions.
